When I'm about to cross over a trffic light that just turned amber & another car from the on coming traffic turns left & hits me in the front of my car who fault is it

That's what the police do. Why didn't you call them when it happened. Now its all a matter of heresay.

A lot depends on where you live. In certain areas, there would be a shared blame... them for turning left in front of incoming traffic on yellow... and you for proceeding through on yellow trying to beat a red..
