I am going to explain the three (3) separate solutions that were given to me, by MJ Tech Support:
    1) Unplug MJ from USB port and plug back into a different USB Port
After 15 - 20 seconds. If another port is not available, plug back in
To the same port as before. I, myself, rebooted, then plugged in.
    2) Another one of their solutions is to "Right Click" on the MJ icon,
Then, left-click on "properties"... click the "Compatibility Tab" and
Set to an older Operating System; They had me set it to "XP -
Service pack 2"... I later changed it to "XP-serv pk 3". My active
Operating System is Windows 7 Premium.
    3) The other fix they give (if you can search and find online or hidden
Within FAQ-Knowledge sections, is the Free Upgrade; However,
That seems to disappear from my system soon after (few days)
    Installation.
Hope you are able to fix. DALE

The case usb ports on many computers do not supply enough power to run devices that do not have their own power source. For instance, my printer is recognized because it has a power brick and uses the usb for I/O only. But not all my flashdrives are recognized in the same slot as the printer was. Using the ports directly off the motherboard back panel is the first thing I would suggest trying if you haven't already. If you need the device up front you can get a usb hub or extension (hub multiple devices, extension one). I bought an SD card reader from Office Max that comes with a cord. I also bought one real cheap $3 but the cord was real thin and was not allowing recognition while the Office Max did. They have several types, the one that reads only SD cards is cheaper than the Multi-Reader. They'll drop you about 15 to 25 samolians but if you have a digital camera they're cool to have. I don't have to load all the bull that the camera installation drops on me, I don't even need drivers I don't connect the camera to the PC. I just pull the card and copy or cut and paste the photo's to a folder on my PC. You can format them out on the PC as well using the reader.
