I had a period June 10th, didn't have one in July, but had a light one August 5th for 5 days. I took two pregnancy test today and both were positive. I want to know how many weeks I am? And why I had a missed period in July? Could I have been pregnant during that time and my HCG levels just were high enough to have been detected? Please help! I'm curious to know. I plan on going to an OB/GYN next week.

Most likely the last week of July or first week of August conception dates but those are guesses, there is no way to ever know the exact conception date unless you only had sex once. Even at the doctor any date they give is plus or minus a week or two weeks.

How to figure your due date and how many weeks you are is to start with the first day of your last normal period (first day means the very first day you saw any bleeding at all, even light) I believe in your case this would be the regular period you had in June. It is not uncommon to be pregnant and have a light spotty bleeding at the time you would have had a period which it sounds like you may have done in Aug. Ok starting at the first day of your last normal period, count back three months and add 14 days.
This will give you your due date and you should be able to take a calendar and figure from there . A normal pregnancy is 40 weeks.
Another way of coming up with your due date would be to take the first day of your last period and add 280 days to it that would be your due date. There is 10 LUNAR months, (28 days in each month).
