    Icemaker inline Water Filter
Wife said something is missing water Filter Replacement GE GXRTDR for the icemaker.Your new GE icemaker water filter comes complete with all the neceassry hardware. Inline filter.
The filter is to be inserted spliced into the 1/4 OD supply tub that feed water to the refrigerator. Cut the tubing. What are they saying? Is it the plastic tubing I should cut already in the back of the fridge ? Copper tubing brings water to the pump, then a plastic line from the pump brings water into the icemaker

I would suggest contacting either GE or the company you bought the fridge from for clarification. Sounds like you would place the filter on the copper supply line to the fridge. Or, if you have good quality, drinkable water, you can just skip the filter alltoghether.

Thank for the tile answer. Water taste terrible in the ice maker. Water filter does mention a blue locking clip in the instructions. Thanks
