My 2 year old boy has bad breath
His saliva smells so bad and everything he touches as well. When he puts his fingers in his mouth or his sleeve... Then he'd touch his cheek or his toys, they smell. Even after I brush his teeth his saliva still smells. Otherwise he's healthy and drinks a lot of water. His dr said he's OK. Please help!! What could be the reason and what should I do?
    Thank you.

His doctor... what about his dentist? He could have something that only a dentist might see.

Sorry. I forgot to mention: when we took him to the dentist we got the same response- his teeth and gums are OK, no cavities...

I did a little searching and find that it isn't common but is known. There are so many causes that I suggest you search on 'toddler smelly saliva' too. Teething, sleeping with bottle of milk instead of water, bacteria on toys and pacifiers, regurgitation, on and on. Try throwing everything he chews on into a sink of hot soapy water and a cup of bleach, and then rinse well after an hour. Try having him rinse with warm water with salt dissolved in it after he brushes his teeth. Look at his tongue - is it coated? Brush his tongue too.
