Am I pregnant or just a weird period?
Ok so this month has been extremely chaotic for me with moving and what not. My last period was on August 3-5. I have been on birth control for about 4 months now, I missed my first pill on August 19th and had unprotected sex on the 19th and 20th but took my birth control pill the night of the 20th. On the 23rd and 24th I was peeing every hour and throughout the evening about every 10-15 minutes, my doctor treated me for a UTI so I was on antibiotics for 3 days. Then had sex on the 27th and missed another pill on the 28th. My period started right on time on the 31st (yesterday) but it has been a werid one. Very light and minimal bleeding and a lot of brown discharge. I have been feeling sick, very tired and very moody. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and they have come back negative. Am I pregnant or is it just a werid period? Please help!

There's no way to diagnose pregnancy on the internet. The only ways to diagnose pregnancy is with a urine test, a blood test, or in later pregnancy an ultrasound. We can guess, but you'd have a better chance at guessing right since you know your body better than we do.

Fact is, you missed a pill, you were on antibiotics and didn't mention using a condom as a backup while on medication. In other words, you were having unprotected sex the entire time, so pregnancy is a high possibility. Even with birth control pills used correctly pregnancy is still possible, but missing pills, and antibiotics (which can render the pill ineffective) increases the chances.

If you believe you're pregnant wait another week and test again, or see your doctor for a more accurate blood test. The test may be negative because it's too early to test, or the test was taken incorrectly. Another possibility is that you're just having an off month.
