I always thought of being gay and not wanting children, but now that I am older I am my thoughts are changing. I have been with women sexually in my late teens and early 20's, but they did not turn me on as much as men. So I dropped the women and been exclusively gay since. I have been in 2 long term gay relationships one for 3 years and the other for 7. I still believe myself to be gay but I now that I have hit 40 I want the wife and kids. The problem being I am not turning straight, but I don't want to live with a man I want to live with a women. Are there women out there that want a similar thing? That is they want the husband and kids but don't want the sexual things that go with it. And yes I can see the contradiction to have kids you need to have sex.

I know of both male and female homosexual couples who have adopted babies. My sil is one of them; she and her partner adopted a newborn boy under her name. Or were you thinking of having at least one biological child?

If you want your partner to have your child and you are gay the only way you can know if a woman will agree/consent is to ask the women you are dating.

If you intend to lie to a woman in order to have a child you are being very unfair to her, to you, to the child.
