    Tiny L- shape brackets in bath waste overflow kit
    What are the for?? There is no explanation with the kit for these. Thank you.

    Hi Flood pod

    I believe the brackets you are talking about are meant to hold the overflow tight into the tub while you are putting the face plate on... more an installation aid really.

    If you can get the overflow up tight to the tub and install the face plate without the l-shaped brackets then you can throw the brackets away and just install the overflow without them.

    Be sure to fill the tub to past the overflow to test your installation of the overflow and the faceplate, OK?

    Mark is correct. I would just toss them if you can get it done without them.
