Changing joint custody to full custody
I have joint custody of my children. Since the divorce my ex-husbands home has in my opinion become unfit. My children are exposed to cigarette and marijuana smoke. I suspect their father and his girlfriend are using meth. They have dogs and turtles that deficate on the floor. There is black mold growing on the ceiling of my triplet sons bedroom. They have only 2 twin beds to sleep on for three boy and one is a mattress on the floor where the dogs deficate. What are my rights in California?

Your rights are to go to court and ask that a home evaluation be done towards granting you full custody or limiting the visitation of the father.

If I had proof of drug use and an unfit home with filth, mold, etc. I would have called Child Protective Services long ago. They will be out to check on the well-being of your children much sooner than the courts. You should pursue the custody issue, of course, after you call CPS.
