Hello everyone, I hope I posted in the right area.

My question is will my dear brother be able to pass his zero tolerance hair follicle test with the following recent history... He has been clean from all drugs and alcohol for over 5 years then he decided one and a half months ago to have 3 hits of marijuana. And one month ago 1 beer and 2 mixed vodka drinks. Then one week ago he had wine, beer, and mixed vodka drinks, 8 drinks all together over the course of an afternoon and night. There is a hair follicle test he should do today or no later than two weeks from now. He is nervous about the 8 drinks one week ago. He knows he f'ed up.

He drinks a lot of water and works a hardcore physical job sweating all day. He is 170lbs with a very fast metabolism and his hair is about an inch to an inch and a half long.

Would it be better for him to take the test now or wait the two weeks? Any professional help is greatly appreciated. :)

Obviously the longer he waits the better his chances.

Have you tried talking to him about misusing alcohol?

What gives you the impression that the hair test checks for alcohol use? That is possible but very unusual in US. It requires a separate test altogether, HEtG. In other words two hair tests. I would be more inclined to think they would do urine EtG and hair for the drugs.

The marijuana use you mention will not show on a hair drug test.

Ok good. I am ignorant of this stuff, It is for a drug related case so they will most positively just test for drugs. I don't know anything about testing via hair I just looked up through Google what I could to help understand things better and to be more clear and direct on here. I feel confident in your answer DrBob I really appreciate it. I'm new here and like this site a lot will be nice to contribute and learn. Thanks again!

Does anybody know of a shampoo that can rid the hair follicle of EtG? I have heard of aloe rid and ultraclean?
