    Daughter-n-law to be evicted
Our family has lived in my husband's family owned house for 15 yrs, OH. We have 3 daughters and I recently obtained a civil protection order (CPO) while filing for divorce. How long do I have to pack and find a new place if my in - laws decide to evict me?

They must give written notice to vacate at least 30 days prior to the next rent due date. (Children, number of children, and ages of children have no bearing on terminating a rental agreement.)
Eviction is another topic, which would happen by filing with the local court if you failed to leave.

You may have more time. Since this is a divorce action, you may be able to get any eviction action tabled until the divorce action is settled. Also, your location may have a bearing. I'm assuming you are in Ohio, where notice has to be 30 days prior to the rental period. So, if rent is due on the first, you you have to be given notice at least 30 days prior to the first.

But I would consult with your attorney, to see if they can start an eviction proceeding while a divorce is pending.
