How to evict my boyfriend when we have a kid
I own my home, and I want my boyfriend out. My boyfriend and I have lived together for 8 years. The relationship is history and we are barely roomates at best. From day one the arrangement was $300 a month not including food because he eats out and has his own cupboard. He buys all of his own laundry soap, etc. This is no real relationship. I have other children which he does not get along with and I spend all weekend sticking up for my kids and playing the referee. I want him gone but I am not sure how to do it. I have asked him to leave like a normal relationship ending but he says he will never leave because of his kid. I don't see anything good about that. What do I do and how do I do it? Is it civil, or is it a land-lord thing or both a tenant and a parenting plan?

It is a landlord/tenant thing. Forcing him to move out of your home has nothing to do with your having a child together. He will still be able to get visitation.

You give him 30 days notice to vacate. If he refuses you file for an eviction order in Housing court.

I was hoping it was a landlord tenant thing. I have been a landlord before and know how to do that. I have just never lived with or had a baby with the person I was evicting. Lol
