My myers 1/2 jet well pump will not come on when I turn the water on

Power to the pressure switch? Power to the pump? What is the "on " pressure? Can you hear the pressure switch click at the preset?

I have power to switch and power to pump pressure is going up to 30 now I put a new tank on today and the pressure will only go up to 30 and won't go to 40 to turn off

I have power to switch and pump and the pump turn on goes up to 30 psi and will not go to 40 psi I put a new tank in today and have 18 psi in tank

Turn the power off to the pump. Does the gage drop to zero or hold steady, Let me know, Tom

Stays at 30

Then if the check valve's OK then I'd be giving a hard look at the impeller. If it were damaged it would give you the problem you have. Regards Tom
