When an appliance is pluged int the outlet being wired to a 3 way and 4 way switch the ceiling light comes on Why ?

When an appliance is pluged into the outlet wired to a 3 way and 4 way switch the ceiling light comes on why?

Lights are almost instant ON but not all appliance. What appliance are you using. My flat screen takes about 4 seconds to boot up.

Something is not wired right.

When you plug in the appliance, you are somehow completing the lighting circuit. Your wiring is not connected properly. You probably have a traveler wire connected from the 3/4 way switch
