    Thermostat to inducer fan
Heil gas fired furnace. Inducer fan will not start. (no power) when I suck on the pressure switch tube it starts right up. The power supply from the inducer connects to the gas valve. I have power coming in to the gas valve from the circuit board. Question? Can the other wires from the circuit board stop the gas valve from letting power continue to the inducer fan? What would the problem be?

If this is a newer Heil, I believe they use the "smart" valve. If this is the case, you will need to get a qualified tech in there to determine the problem. What they call a smart valve, is one of the dumbest things out there in my opinion. Trouble shooting them suckers can be a real pain. Good luck and please let us know what the tech finds.
