I had my period on aug 1-5 and then about a week before my next period, Aug 26 I had some spotting that was brown that lasted for a two days and turned into a light red period but isn't as heavy as my normal period. I'm having mild cramps that come and go. I've took a pregnancy test that had a faint line then a few days later was negative. Could I be pregnant?

You should go to a doctor. You could just be sick or maybe even going through a growth spurt so go to a doctor.

What time of day did you take your second pregnancy test? Make sure you use your first urine of the day when you first wake up.

I took them in the morning,

I would test again.

False negatives are common. False positives, while they do happen, are very rare.

You said that the one test showed a faint positive. A positive, even if it's faint, is a positive.

I would go to your doctor, tell him the situation, and have a blood test done.
