    Safe or unsafe sex?
I'm 29 and my average menstrual cycle length is 28 days. My last period started on Aug 4th 2012. I know that my ovulation date was around Aug 17th (more or less), and I had unprotected sex on Aug 11th, i.e six days before my expected ovulation.
General knowledge tells me it's safe but after Google searching about the "lifespan of sperm in the cervix/uterus" I'm confused. Some sources say sperm can live up to 3-6 days in the cervix/uterus.
So is there a potential pregnancy coming? Thanks very much.

Any time you have unprotected sex, you can become pregnant. You will have to wait and see.

Thanks, it finally arrived (my period)- just a delay of 5 days. Next time I won't play around with fire :)

First you can not know your ovulation period by counting days, it does not really work like that for all women.

There is no safe day, some women get pregnant they day before or after their cycle.
