Do I have a valid complaint? I work in healthcare and like every other job,it's stressful.I was involved in an unsafe situation resulting in injury to myself,and a near fatal fall to an elderly,dependent patient.Luckily,the patient is fine in which I can morally live with myself.My complaint is that the "unsafe" procedure is still in practice and the floor is overseen by an administrator whose managerial decisions are not in the best interest of patient care/staff.I am out of work presently due to this situation and pressured to perform these tasks once I return to work since the patient is my responsibility on a daily basis.My manager has no regard for feedback,unapproachable,intimidating,and an apathetic manner towards our/my concerns for safety.I have exhausted all my options including our union,human resources,even OSHA.Nothing has been done.
