I have been thinking about a children’s book I used to read as a child but for the life of me, cannot remember the title!Now that I have my own child, I’m really dying to know. I read it in the late 80’s/early 90’s but I’m not sure when it was written. It was about a little boy whose toy doggy accidently got sold at his school’s tag sale in the summer. The book is about him trying to get it back. The only thing I remember other than that, is there are illustrations and the main character has a baby brother/sister who is chewing on a wooden spoon in the illustration.
