    I thought only politicians could turn up the pressure. :D But in this case they wouldn't know what to do without additional information. First up, how long has this been going on? Do you know where your water meter box is and if there is a regulator in the line. Sorry for all these personal questions. :D nm

    If the cold is fine, and other hot water taps are better, chances are the problem is minerals built up behind the cartridge. Shut the stops off under the sink. For most faucets, pry off the plastic cap, unscrew the screw, remove the knob, and unscrew the nut under it, and pull out the cartridge. Put a towel over the hole and briefly open the stop to flush out the crud. Either clean up the cartridge, or take it to a good hardware store to let them match it. Put things back together. Any problems, post back. May need to give brand and model of the faucet.

    My apologies gypsy, Hot tap for an instant hot is not what I visulalized.
