When I was a kid, my parents were watching a movie. I wasn't really paying attention, but I do remember the gist of the plot and this particular scene. A woman was being held captive by man who drank all the time. She was fighting him in this one scene and she kicked him in the eye with the point of her shoe (they were pumps, by the way... it was the 60s). She got away from him but eventually went back to him after he had sobered up.
