Clicking noise in wall/ceiling in 96 year old home.
Hello. Our home is 96 years old. Last winter we updated one spare bedroom by taking down the plaster walls, new electrical (just in that room) and insulated. We now have a clicking noise that is pretty much constant in the room, located (we think) in one corner area. We can't figure out if it's in the wall or ceiling. We eliminated electrical by shutting off the main power to the whole house and the clicking continued. There is no water damage appearing. In the area where we hear the noise, the drywayll had to bend around some floor joices because they were not level. We do not see any screws popping out. We are baffled! How can we figure out what it is?

Clicking noises often come from heating system pipes. Any ideas there?

Also, what is above the part of the room, and can you get to it to look?
