I know a mother that twice she has up and left this state with not letting people know she is leaving. She has left her child with her father. She says she doesn't know when she is coming back if she is even coming back. The dad is in the stage of oh she came back before she will come back again. She left last September (2011)

Go to Court and get custody and child support, no visitation by PROVING that the mother is an emotional or physical risk to the child.

Do about what? There are several things he can and should do, but what is his purpose? Does he have legal custody, does he want it? Does he want the mother out of his and the child's life? Sounds to me like he is willing to just go with the status quo. Rather then give you a list of things he can do, tell us what his purpose would be and we can then advise.
