Why is there a red light on at the upper right hand side ofmy thermostat?

Which model and brand of stat do you have and is everything working correctly? Red lights most frequently are a warning that something isn't right. Some stats even tell you if your filter needs changing or if the battery is low. Do you have a manual for the stat?
