    Hi I am 19 and am pregnant with a 16 year olds baby we have been together for a year. Both parents on both sides concent... when I have my baby can his name go on the birth certificate?

    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Also ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    Depending on local laws, it may be that he could not legally consent. Definitely, his parents cannot consent for him. In fact, his parents may be in trouble is they allowed you to have sex with him. And you could wind up in with a record as a sex offender.

    Are you talking about consent to sex or consent to the boy's name going in the BC as father? Correct, of course, as to the former, and maybe as to the latter as well. It may require an adjudication.
