Ok.. 2003 durango 4.7 low on gas toda
y. Check engine light comes on. Pull into autozone. Spits out code P0452 which is fuel tank pressure sensor defective or loose wiring, connectors etc. Dodge calls it the EVAP pressure sensor and its apparently on fuel tank. Also read that different models have shortcut methods to change or inspect it such as removing left rear tire and wheel well or hatches in rear floor etc. Ive double checked gas cap and just hoping for advice.

Did you fill the tank with gas? Could the seal on the gas cap have deteriorated? It may take a little time for the CEL to go out on its own or you could clear it with a code reader.

The light came on before I could gas up.
