My twin sister is going to 9th grade on Monday August 27th.I am one grade behind my sister because I went to India. I went to India because of special Ed. I did not like special Ed. I came back on November 2011.All the kids in 9th grade don't talk to the 8th graders in the church hall.

Because your friends are there ISN'T a reason.

You'd have to be a genius, and be that far ahead of everyone else in the course material, AND in a school district that allows it.

None of the reasons you gave qualify.

I'm sorry, but unless you know the material, you'll fall very far behind. Because teachers and administrators know that, and it's a concern, they won't let student skip a grade unless they can prove that they know the material from the grade they want to skip.

You'd have to take tests with 8th grade material and pass with above average marks.

Do you know the material? Do you think you'd do well testing on 8th grade material?

It really wouldn't be in your best interest to skip a grade at this point.
