Ceiling fan light will not work
I have a ceiling fan that I have replaced 2 times so far for the same issue. The fan and light run off the same switch. Blue light wire connected to the black wires. The fan worked great for about 6 months and then the light stopped working. You can turn on the switch and the fan comes on with no problem, however now the light comes on for a split second then you hear a click and it shuts off. The fans continue to run. If you shut the wall switch off and back on, the same thing happens. I verified that there is power before turning on the fan... which there is, but as soon as the switch is turned on and the light shuts off after you hear the click, there is no power to the light. The same issue has happened to both fans. This is driving me crazy and I want to get it fixed. The manufacturer thought it was the light fixture and they sent me a new one but the same results occur... can anyone help me?

What type of switch, regular toggle switch or some other.
Where is the click coming from, the switch or the fan/light?

It is a regular rocker switch at the wall. Click sound comes from the fan when you turn the wall switch on.

    One switch or two?

Fan/light does not have any kind of remote does it? I can think of no reason for a light circuit to make a noise other than a poor connection arcing.

Describe wiring in ceiling box and switch.
