Maytag gas dryer only heats when no clothes in it
I have the dryer pulled off the vent pipe... great air flow! When I run it with nothing in it, it gets really hot as it should. As soon as I put wet clothes in it, I get no heat in either auto dry or timed dry mode... I am at a loss... model # LDG9304AAL
Any thoughts would be amazing! Thanks!

    Here are the manuals: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Maytag%20Dryers.zip
You have a safety opening or a bad thermistor. You will need a good digital meter and the schematic (above) to find the problem. This can also happen when the dryer is very dirty, no matter how good you think the airflow is, most likely a thermistor or t-stat is not sensing due to built up lint (like concrete) on the wall of the duct where it's mounted. Clean it well and check all sensors and if they all check out it may be fixed.
