    Damaged clean out cap
A few years ago I ran over my clean out plug cap with my mower. I can't remember exactly where the cap was and now my kitchen sink and washing machine drain are clogged. How can I relocate the cap for the clean out plug

Find where the main drain exits the house and work from there going toward the curb.

It should be about 24" away from foundation where main sewer exits house. First, find out which direction the sewer goes: front or back of the house. Then, take shovel and poke ground around that side of the house. You will find it. It will be few inches below the ground cover. Back to you. Milo

All great solutions. Our code mandates the Clean out be not over 18" from the foundation and brought up to grade. If it's been overgrown with dirt we take a pointed rod called a probe or sounding rod and poke around until we locate it. Good luck, Tom

    Try cutting the grass again.
