Hello, I have been on the depo shot since I was 15, I am now 18. Around April was the last shot I got. My mother lost her insurance and I couldn't get my shot. I had unprotected sex August 8th, and on August 12th I went to my doctors and got my depo shot. The lady asked me if I had unprotected sex in the past 2 weeks, and I lied. I got the shot, and lately I've been having back pains, headaches, my boobs really hurt, I've been getting weird feelings in my stomach, and everything around me smells 80% stronger than it has before. I took 3 pregnancy tests, one on Sunday the 18th, another on the 19th and one today, they all came out negative. I'm concerned as to why I feel the way I do, and I'm also concerned that I'm pregnant. And advice would help, thanks!

When is your period due to come? If you test more then a few days before your period is due it won't show up as a pos test yet. If you are pregnant the only feeling you would have in your stomach would really be a cramp or pain. You feel no fetal movement until closer to 17-20 weeks in a pregnancy. I would ask your Dr. about your symptoms because it may all be linked to getting the depo shot again.

So you have so little concern about safety and possible safety of a baby, you will lie to a doctor about important medical treatment.

Ahhhhh. Sorry call your doctor, tell him you lied and is this a side effect from the shot.

I wasn't asking for judgement. Yes I understand I did make a bad decision on lying to my doctor, that doesn't make me a terrible person. And as to the other comment, I haven't gotten my period since I started the depo when I was 15. And I apologize I didn't mean like oh I felt the baby kick, it's like gurgling and a bit of cramping. But thank you! I'm going to the doctors Monday, I hope for the best :) I'm extremely excited!
