We have power to the unit but light and fan quit working after being turned off. Is there a reset button? Circuit breaker not the problem.

Have you checked the switch to see if its even sending power to the unit?

Yes, there is power at the ceiling, has been working continueously for 3 years.

I mean is there switched power to the assembly and a good return path in case someone improperly put the switch on the return path insteat of the hot side.

Since this started with the switch... I am trying to prove the switch hasn't malfunctioned as of the last time it was turned off after working fine.

Does this have a pull cord swtch a child might have pulled since then?
