My 5 month pup was hit by parvo around Aug 9, after vomitting and black faeces for 4-5 days and treatment from Aug 12 onwards with twice a day IVs and injections the pup is extremely weak and has started mouth intake after stoppage of 5 days. It is now eating well but is extremely weak especially in the hind legs and has been having great difficulty in sitting as well as standing up. How long does it take for a pup to recover its strength and continue normal growth? My vet is saying be patient and all will be well.

I would believe the Vet. Recovery from Parvo can be very slow. Have you taken him back to the Vet to make sure this is not a separate issue?
