My boy friend was telling me the he has a paid attorney,simply because my brother applied for a lawyer first,an it would be conflict because their both incarcerated,do u think the paid attorney would do any good how much time is he facing, an is it possible for him to get it dropped to theft by receiving being that he wasn't the one entering the vehicle he just pawned the items...

But both can ask for a public Defender, they can each get a different one of there is a conflict.

If he was there , at the car when the crime happened, I don't see how he will get the charges reduced, also since he knew they were stolen, and sold them, this is more than just receiving the property.
