Duro non-bladder water tank air pressure?
Older system, with sand point and piston pump feeds into a galvanized steel water tank that has no bladder... the tank has an air pressure gauge and a shreider valve. What should the gauge be reading (when tank is drained? And when it's full?).

When the pump's off and the tank drained the gage should read zero,

When the tank's filled and the pump up to the cut off point. The gage should reaf pretty close to the cut off point on the control box. Cheers. Tom

I really like those old systems. Pump cuts on with no head pressure. Never have to worry about a ruptured bladder. As long as everything is working, they provide good service.
