I am a healthy attractive 56 year old woman. My husband of 38 years is 58. We have not had sex in several years. We get along fine and are not having any marriage problems. It is as if we are just good friends. I have tried to talk to him and he doesn't seem to want to discuss it. Frankly, I am not ready to just be an "old" couple with no intimacy.

How is he stress wise/exhaustion? Has he been to a doctor lately? Full check up? Talked about said problem to him?

You are aware Erectile dysfunction is not something most guys want... and in fact most who have it are extremely sensitive about it.

At 58 he might have medical reasons that cause it... and we can't assume he has been to a doctor... or even discussed it with them. And if he has... he might not have an option that doesn't involve invasive surgery.

And trust me... as a man... a guy that can't get it up... does feel like less of a man. And THAT will be just one reason he doesn't want to discuss it...
