Ever since we installed out ceiling/light fan it will come on or go off "at will". It has a remote, no pull chain, and wall switch is a quad switch. WE think it is when the A/C turns on or off. Everything else works just fine. Is the issue with the fan or the wall switch? Thankslb

Hello, sounds like you're having a wiring problem... AC sounds like it might be cross wired to the same on/off relay that the fan is on

Likely best to pay an electrician to fix it

Reset remote and select a new code.

I think hk's got it, default code on transmitter and fan receiver may cause unwanted operation from another remote on default code.
Did you change from default code?
