Adding a laundry room and need 220
How do I tap into a 220 volt line to run to another outlet? I have an unused 220 volt line going to the overn. I converted the oven to ags, and want to use that line to run to a laundry room I am building, but do not want to remove the line to the stove in case I sell later. Is there a way to keep the stove line (that is not used) and connect a line to the dryer?

What you are describing is not good practice...
Install a new dedicated line for the dryer and be done with it.

The stove and dryer are two different amperages. As HF said, best to run a new line to the dryer.
