On Tuesday (14th) I found tiny light brown patches in my undies, but they were very light. I am 13 and a half and have been having discharge for a year. I found nothing else since then, and now it is Sunday (19th) what is this?? Please help I am really confused!!

You need to talk to your mom about this. Ask her to take you to your pediatrician.

I have told her, she says she had that as well but she said its nothing to worry about. My mum won't take me to the pediatrician! I just want to know what it is

There is no way we can tell. When is your next checkup due?

Brown discharge usually indicates old blood that's "washing" itself out of your system. A period is normally red, not brown. I don't want to sound insensitive, but brown in your underwear could also indicate that you just didn't wipe very well the last time you had a bowel movement.

We really can't tell you what's going on. This is a medical thing, and even a doctor couldn't tell you what's going on online. No one can.

We can guess, but there are literally 100's of guesses. Guessing won't help you.

If your mom refuses to take you to a doctor, then you'll have to hope and pray that it's not serious. I'm surprised that mom would dismiss this and not get you checked out.

Do mention it the next time you see your doctor. It could very well be that your body is getting ready to start your first period, but that's just a guess.
