    Dishwasher overflow
Is it possible that a spoon left at the bottom of a dishwasher could cause an overflow? I had a lot of water in the kitchen after running the dishwasher. I removed all of the dishes out of the dishwasher and found a spoon at the bottom by the wheel. I then ran another cycle and saw not evidence of a leak. Thanks for any insight.

If the spoon covered the hose inlet then the water would build up in your dishwasher to the point of overflowing, removing the spoon took the obstruction away. Cheers, Tom
