My husband and I split up a year ago and I had my two children for nine months afterwards. My father got sick and I asked there father to keep them for the weekend and he has refused to give them back. I have tried to keep in contact with them everyday but he and his new partner are denying it. I have not been proved unfit and I have had three visitation in the month of may and then all of a sudden no visitation because of his partner in which I have no dispute with other than them not allowing me to see my children. We have no custody agreement we are not legally separated and I I would like to know what my parental rights are ?

Have there been any court orders overe custody? If not you both have equal rights. But since he has possession, he is in control.

You need to go to court to establishg custody and visitation. This should have been done when you split.
