I am replacing my old carrier thermostat with a Hunter that I got from a Sears that is unfortunately going out of business. I need help with the wiring of it please.
I have 5 wire coming from the wall. They are currently connected to the following in carrier thermostat.
W= white wire
O = No wire
G = Green
R = Red
C = Black
Y = Yellow

I need to connect them to on the Hunter:
G
RC
RH
Y/O
W/B
Y1
Thank you

New stat

w=w/B
g=green
r=rh (with jumper from rh to rc)
y=y1

The black wire that was hooked to c on the old stat will now not be used, cap it.
This should get you up and running. Let me know how things work out.
