Need help with the style of the author of the book "The Help"
I need to right a short essay describing the style of Kathryn Stockett, author of The Help. I need to include textual support with specific references and I should discuss diction, characterization, theme, mood, tone, figurative language, and/or genre.

Can someone please help give me ideas of what to write or be kind enough to provide me with an already done 3-5 paragraph essay where I can also collect ideas from?

You mean an already done essay you can cut and paste and turn in as your own? After changing a few words.

That's not what I'm looking for. I just need some help and ideas with what to write and I'm not looking towards plagiarism.

That's exactly what you were asking for in your post. I wasn't born yesterday. You don't NEED a prewritten homework assignment just to collect ideas from.

Well that was if someone was kind enough, I guess you're right and I'm wrong but I just mainly need some help and ideas with what to write. Not to copy exact ideas off someone, but to give me a sense/direction of what to write.

Try this link... it gives you guidelines on how to do this... if you have read that book as you were supposed to you will have the specific details to include into it.

    Basic Guide to Essay Writing

This won't be the last essay you will have to do... and they only get harder than this will be... so you need to learn how to do it properly... and not just fudge on using someone else's essay on the same topic. You might squeak by this one, but you will go down in flames the next one if you don't.

I'm not being mean... I'm being realistic... I did make it through 4 years of College... and know many people that tried to take the easy road... and never got where they were wanting to go because when it kept getting harder they had never learned the basics and flunked out.

I'm a teacher (was an English major) and retired librarian, and will help if you are willing to do your part.

First, have you read the book?
