Can a person bond out of prison in CA? My fiancée has heard this is possible to do but has little info on the subject. He has a 22 yr sentence, served 18 for attempted murder. Is this possible for him? Some company from Staten Island, NY claims they can bond him out for $6,000.
Attempted Murder? Good luck trying... if was aggrivated littering maybe... Attempted Murder is a SERIOUS offense.

That's what I'm afraid of. Someone sent him some information on bonding out of prison. Recently he contacted this company directly and this is what they told him. I will ask him the name of this company and let you know asap. I don't think he understands much about what these bonds are for, which is why I've been googling it myself. Don't want him to get "taken". A company called NLP tried to lure him & I before, but when I researched there business with BBB I found claims that they'd taken thousands from families, filed useless court appeals, and were unsuccessful getting clients out. Yes... it was sent indirectly through a friend of his, but ISP in California allowed NLP to send him mail directly. We communicate through mail, but as soon as I get the name of this company I'll post it for you.Quote:

I don't allude to innocence nor guilt in that situation, but I do understand, coming from a neighborhood infested with gangs myself of low economic living conditions where many males had to join gangs for their own survival. I don't condone that lifestyle, but I know everyone where I come from wasn't as fortunate to get out of there and go on to college as I did. In any case... he's not getting out until they decide he's getting out, if he has no possibility of parole, it won't be until he's served the entire sentence, it he does, it won't be until the parol board decides he's ready. And that "bond" appears to be a scam for people suceptible to such offers... as most scams are.
I will, and thank you for the information as well. It is possible the help they offered is related to a different kind of bond assistance. As stated, he has very little information on this subject. I think it may be a misunderstanding on what he's heard of bonding and what details were discussed between the two parties. I'm seeking information based on what he's heard and what is true. True my question is open to responses from any who choose to respond, but there is some who post to inform and others who post for their own reasons unrelated, such is the information highway. Sure you can ask me what you will in this thread, but I'm wise enough to know better than to answer a personal question on my relationship or its origins to not just a total stranger, but more importantly something unrelated to the topic I asked about. I'm in the same boat with you. He wrote me about this, so I decided to check on the information he's told me so far. I don't know anything about bonds with jails or prisons, but what he stated he was told and/or given on this matter seems questionable or faulty, which is why I'm looking into the validity of this. I will post it for you when I get more information on this company... what claims they are making, and who they are.Quote:

Hang around this site and you will see many yourself. Sometimes people choose not to see it until its pointed out to them. Read the posts about people crying about how unfair it is when they violate their parole by breaking the law, or the drunks and drug addicts trying to cheat their random tests and whining about how unfair it is they are subject to them.
Maybe your boyfriend is one of the few who really has learned his lesson... and keeps his nose clean when he does get out... and I do truly hope you can help him do it...
Statistically, the odds are against him doing it... but maybe he can beat those odds.
