MSDS or Material Safety Data Sheets must be kept with a cleaner or any cleaners being used in a public or hospital or nursing home setting. A book of these MSDS sheets of any solution used for cleaning has to be kept in the utility room where they are stored.
The MSDS sheet for Sterisol (you must be sure that is the name of the cleaner) will tell you. To all intents and purposes he is allergic to Sterisol per se and they should discontinue the use.
Does the school have a caretaker on site, or do they use someone from outside?
The MSDS sheet should have been available through Google, but for some reason it is not and any deviation from how these chemicals are stored and used is an universally governed by the Department of Health and Safety in the US Canada.
