    L don't know whats' happening-am lpregnant?
Please hear my cry out, l really need your help, anyone out there to hear my cry and help. I am 27 years old. I started having my periods when l was 13 and since then they have been regular. I last had my period mid November 2006 and since then have not bled or even spotted-nothing. I did several pregnancy tests in December and January and they were all negative. On the 8th of February l did another pregnancy test and it was positive, a day after l did another test and it was negative. L did a couple of more tests a few day later and l got positive results but lines were faint. I arranged to have a scan because l was very confused and nothing was seen, instead l was told my ovaries were very slightly enlarged. They also did a blood test to check my hcg and was told the level was below that which would suggest pregnancy. Now, as you can imagine l still have not had a period for 3 full months now which is very unusual for me and makes me scarred as l wonder what is happening. I do experience terrible headaches and l don't know what everything mean. L haven't got any signs of pregnany. L suffer from high blood pressure hence it makes me confused again whether these headaches are associated with my high BP or to do which whatever reason that's making me not have my period. Please help. Could l still be pregnant after all this or there is a serious medical problem behind it all. My husband and l are trying for a baby.

Let me start by asking what medication you are on for your HBP, and how much you take, and how long you have been on it. Some meds can cause side-effects similar to this.

    Dear Janine

Thank you very much for your response Janine, l appreciate it very much. You asked me what l take for my HBP. I have taken Amlodopine 5mg once daily for almost a year and half but because my BP was still elevated, Ramipril 1.25mg once daily was also added on in November 2006. Having said this l was made to stop taking these two by my GP when l had the initial positive pregnancy test thus on the 8th of February and was started on Methyldopa 250mg twice daily which l have taken for almost 3weeks now as l was told it is safe in pregnancy.
