My husband has a lien for back child support. My parents are giving me a 93 Honda so I can get to work. If the car is only in my name can the car be seized to pay off his debt or will it be safe? We make monthly payments and also have two other children under our roof.

What is in your name cannot be touched.

Most certainly keep it in your name. As I would with paychecks you receive, etc.. don't put them into an account with his name on it as they will be considered co-mingled and might be taken pending proof of who's is who's.

Do you mean they have a "judgement" a lien is something that is placed on property or "things" so what do they already have a lien on, house ? Bank accounts /
