    Name removed from borth cert
    I have a 11month old daughter, have a partner who is not Bio father as father is unknown how do I get his name removed from her birth cert?

    Where? This could be a problem. It actually is a crime to put an incorrect name on a birth certificate.

    In the States I've researched this can only be done by Court Order and you would have to show how the initial "mistake" happened and why you want the birth certificate changed.

    But he signed knowing he was not the father? You'd have to go to Court and explain that, explain that he filed a false document and then explain why he's changed his mind.

    He did not have to be on the birth certificate in order to take responsibility.

    The Court very probably will require DNA testing - at least in my State (NY).

    I'm in Aus
    And he hasn't changed his mind about being in the birth cert I have for my own reason in the future if we were to separate I do to lose my daughter

    Thought you were in the US - my advice is meaningless. You need to consult with an Attorney in your area.

    And, yes, he is the legal father at this point so you need to do something.
