Seriously... its time you got a life... I think he finally did. He's NOT the love of your life... you met him once.

Not saying this to be mean but perhaps he found someone else or just got bored with the whole internet dating thing.

Or his wife found out about him talking to you, or his boy friend found out

Stop looking, that's my advise. Let it happen when it happens. How old are you by the way?

When what happens? She's trying to find the guy that she was talking to.

Yeah, I misread something there. Sorry, didn't realize this guy she met online was actually her true love. Nothing against online meetings, just have seen the results of it in the past with other relatives. I need to learn to read I guess :(

She met him once the first time two weeks ago? I'd like to know exactly how that constitutes a true love? I'm far from being old fashioned... and have seen way too many people desperate enough for whatever is missing in their life call someone they met online a true love, moved great distances and then start complaining when everything isn't the fairytale they were expecting. If they were lucky... some became statistics or victims of abuse or rape...

I also don't believe you can be in love with someone you met once or only recently...

Sounds like she fell for him hard, after that they met once and he's broken off contact. One person's Monet is another person's Picasso?

I'm finding it hard to say kind things in this case...

But lets say... be glad he walked away and wasn't a real mental case or worse as happens all too often in these situations...

Lots of people like this (sorry can't find nicer words) are often prey to online preditors who gravitate to people like this who can't meet people live in person and locally... play to their weaknesses and when they finally meet, bad things happen.

From time to time one makes the national news... but far more never do...

I can agree completely, Smoothy. The guy my sister-inlaw met online portrayed himself as a car salesman. Come to find out (his words not mine) he sold porn in a hidden room in his basement. How would have that ended for a woman with a daughter? Luckily she ended the relationship shortly after meeting and finding out the truth.

I can't make this stuff up, believe me I've seen some really deranged things :(

Do you have an address or phone number? Or name? Few people are invisible.
