Always wonder about the location of the bottle jack under an auto.
Have a scissor jack, with notches to fit when you jack up the car.
But where do you position a bottle jack under the car. Is there a special place?

Bottle jacks are dangerous to use under a car since they have a small bearing surface and you need a strong flat surface to lift. If you need to use one, position it inder a leaf spring perch or axle bracket and make sure to use a safety. Why not a floor jack?
